Certification Testings
When you first join Pony Club, you are considered unrated. When your ready you'll participate in a testing to earn your first Pony Club certification. If you are new to horses, you'll be testing at the D-1 level. This can include both a mounted and an unmounted test. As you gain more knowledge and experience you'll move up in levels.
Pierport Pony Club currently offers 5 certification tracks, Horse Management, Eventing, Dressage, Hunter Seat Equitation/Show Jumping, and Western. During a testing, you may move up in the track you are on or sideways to test in a different track at your current level.

For their first testing, everyone must take the D-1 Level testing. For those that are ready, the D-2 Level Horse Management will be offered along with the D-2 Traditional, D-2 Dressage, and D-2 Hunt Seat Equitation.
A member must meet or exceed the standards of every section for each level in order to become certified at that level. At the end of each test sheet, specific re-test requirements are noted.
For members who think they are ready to test at the D-3 level or higher, you must first get approval from your DC.
